Your profile’s Booking Info – looked at it lately?

Those of you who are host members of ConcertsInYourHome have your own free profile page on our website.  And one of the cool features of your profile is the Booking Info section.  Yet one of the observations we hear from our artist members is that many hosts’ Booking Info is stale, or outright inaccurate.  Which impels me to ask….

Have you looked at your Booking Info lately?

After all, wouldn't it be great if you mostly heard from artists who were a great fit for your series and whose availability dovetails with yours?

This is the space where you can let artists know which unique factors you consider when booking an artist.  For example….

Do you book only artists you’ve seen perform live or that have a truly compelling live video on their CIYH profile?

Do you want the artist to know that none of the 12 shows you plan to book during the year occur in the summer or during the winter holidays?

Or that your seating capacity is usually 35 indoors, and 85 outdoors during the spring and fall?

Or that your suggested donation amount is $15-20?

Or (and here’s my favorite use of the Booking Info section) that the next three dates you’re booking are:

       Sat, Sept 10 or 17

       Fri, Oct 21 or 28

       Nov 7 or 8 or 9 or 10, a weekday DessertAndSong

            for 15-18 people?

Your Booking Info section should be current and frequently in motion as your booking needs ebb and flow.  Your CIYH artist colleagues thank you for your attention to this.
