Why DNS is such an amazing option for you

One of our experienced house concert hosts offered their first DinnerAndSong (DNS) event not too long ago.  Here’s the email thread that followed the concert.  Speaks for itself.

    Jeff:  So, how was it????

Host:  It was fun.  We had 10 guests including one couple who had not been to any of our concerts.  Lots of compliments and thank you's.  A very fun evening.  Less work and more fun than our regular concert series.

Jeff:  Forgot to ask.......how did you find [Artist] for this DNS booking?  At NERFA [northeast folk music conference]?

Host:  Had seen her at FARM [midwest folk music conference] two years ago and thought we'd be interested but weren't sure we'd care for a full concert of "traditional."  I had noted that she was scheduled at [venue two hours away].  So I checked her schedule and noted an opening between her gigs [on either side of us] so I asked if she'd be interested.  Figured a DNS would be safe, even if we didn't like her music.  But we did, and would invite her back for a full concert.
