You’re enjoying the afterglow of an amazing concert that you hosted. And so are your guests.
Now’s the time to put that afterglow to good use.
If you’ve got a little free time, you might consider reaching out to your guests by phone on the 2nd or 3rd day after the concert to thank them (again) for coming. If you didn’t already get their feedback at the concert, ask them how they enjoyed the evening.
Perhaps remind them of your next concert (if it’s already booked) and invite them to bring a couple of friends with them.
Give them any signals that will make them feel like your concert series is theirs, too. That their support of it means the world to you and that it takes a village to keep a great concert series going.
If you’ve got specific needs for help (room set-up, food, MC, greeter, merch table, more chairs, artist lodging, etc.), ask them if they’d like to lend a hand.
Connect with your guests while the good feelings from the concert are still fresh in their hearts. This is one way to develop great word of mouth support for your series. And sometimes new concerts series spring up from these guests that you nurture in this way.
