    Loving your CIYH profile

With all the fun that comes from putting on great house concerts for our friends, we sometimes forget to re-visit our CIYH profile and keep it up to date.

Here are some excellent reasons to log in and spend a couple minutes “tuning up” your profile.

    ·        You just had a show.  Everyone loved it.  Update your [Host Info] section for the number of previously held concerts and the average attendance figure.

    ·        You just booked another show.  Fabulous.  Post that show in your [Add/Edit Shows & WebFlyers] section.

    ·        I think you can see this next one coming, right?  Take advantage of the event posting and easily produce an attractive WebFlyer.  You can offer the web link to that flyer in your emails and Facebook/Twitter invitations and follow-ups.

    ·        Review your [Booking Info] section.  This section presents your current booking status and we require our artist members to read this section carefully before they reach out to you for possible booking.  So we owe it to them for this section to be accurate.  Also, be sure to add information to [Booking Info] that will uniquely benefit artists, such as important concert and stage details.

    ·        Review your Accommodations section.  Are there any changes you need to make regarding the guest room or your pets?

    ·        Ready to offer a guarantee?

Remember…..many artists review your profile and they really appreciate information that is complete and accurate, which in turn will save you from receiving inquiries from artists who are not a good fit for your series.
