How to Host a House Concert

    Announce your bathroom breaks before the show

    One of the things that can make a first-time guest a little nervous about the house concert experience is wondering when and where they can use the rest room. 

     

    Pointing out the bathrooms when they arrive is a great start. 

     

    And perhaps just as important, be sure that your MC covers the evening’s format before the first set begins.  This will put the newbie’s mind at ease, learning how long the first set is and being assured that there will be a solid intermission break between the sets to use the rest room if needed. 

     

    We don’t want our guests worried about having to get up during the concert to find the rest room.  It’ll take away the joy from the concert experience.
